Kya "Dizzy" Marie Cole

June 10, 1992 ~ June 8, 2017 (age 24)

Burlington, Colorado residents Kya “Dizzy” and Tierra “T” passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in Wyoming.  Kya was 24 and Tierra was 22 years old.

Kya Marie Cole was born on June 10, 1992 in Goodland, Kansas to Jeffrey Cole and Sarah Harris.  She would later be blessed with her sister Tierra Lynn Cole, who was born on May 14, 1995 in Burlington, Colorado.

Kya was known as “Dizzy” to all who knew her and Tierra was known as “T”.  They were always referred to as “The Girls” because they were always together.  Most the time if you saw one of the girls the other was very close by.

“Dizzy” attended school in Bethune and graduated from Bethune High School in 2010.  “T” also attended Bethune school and she graduated with her GED at the beginning of her senior year.

“Dizzy” continued her education at Western Wyoming College and Morgan Community College.  “T” also planned on going to Western Wyoming College.

The girls excelled in customer service jobs while pursuing their careers of being teachers.  Education was very important to them and they had a passion for reading.  While “Dizzy” preferred history and learning everything she could, “T” was literature and writing.  Other favorite they enjoyed were cosplay, anime, and music.

They strongly believed in supporting our veterans and wanted to help anyone less fortunate or in need.  They had a big heart for family and the many friends they called family and loved spending time with them.  This included Dizzy’s dog Choas and T’s cat Target and Mole.

“Dizzy” and “T” will be dearly missed by all who knew them.

They are preceded in death by sister, Crystal Charlene Porter and niece Katelynn Ann Marie Risner and grandparents J. Dempsey and Betty D. Harris.

Left behind to cherish their memories are their parents, Jeff and Kathy Cole, brothers; Keith Alan Porter, Carl Lee Porter, nephews; Keith Alan Porter, Jr. and Kayden Scott Porter, niece; Autumn Charlene Ann-Marie Porter and Emery Raen Porter; Parents; Sarah and Steve McManigal, brother; Damion Luis, and sisters; Amanda (Jorge) Rico, Zoey Lynn, Jacklyn Danielle, nephews; Damien Rico, Marcos Rico, Benjamin Rico and niece; Adrianna “Button” Rico, grandparents; Danny and Pam Cole, Richard and Vonnie Bergman, Karen Edgeman, Roland Gevas and Cleo Say Gavas.
