Biography

Burlington resident, Michael Stegeman passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2010 at the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital at the age of 67.

Michael was born on September 25, 1942 to Xavier L. and Lela P. (Dancer) Stegeman in Seldon, Kansas.

He is survived by his son, Jeff Stegeman of Burlington, one brother Richard Stegeman of Virginia and four sisters Annie Fyfe of Levant, Kansas, Mary Jane Sponsel and her husband Tom of Edson, Kansas, Helen Perry and her husband Wiley of Quitman, Texas and Agnes Reignor and her husband Bob of Westminster, Colorado.

Preceding him in death are his parents, his daughter Heidi Stegeman Davis, one sister Alice Ruthe, and two brothers Ernie and Kenny Stegeman.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
