Larry Grasser

June 2, 1952 - June 5, 2010

Longtime Stratton, Colorado resident Lawrence John Grasser passed away on June 5, 2010 in Stratton. He was 58 years old.

Larry was born June 2, 1952 to William Vincent and Camilla Mary (Rueb) Grasser in Dodge City, Kansas. He was one of eight children. Larry attended school and graduated from Stratton High School in 1970.

Everyone in town knew Larry. He was well known for taking pleasure in visiting with everyone. He especially enjoyed his nieces and nephews, and keeping up with the new additions to the family. He thought each new baby looked just like him, and they sort of did. His favorite TV show was the Dukes of Hazzard, he could watch it over and over again. He also liked to go to tractor pulls and car races. He had may close friends who were good to him. We will all miss him.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Terrance and one niece Lori.

He is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law Peggy and Darrin Laverenz of Strasburg, Colorado, Gail and Jack Allen of Loveland, Colorado; sister Sister Carol Grasser SFCC of Council Bluffs, Iowa; brothers and sisters-in-law Greg and Tammy Grasser of Henderson, Nevada, Rich and Barbara Grasser of Stratton, Colorado and brother Dan Grasser also of Stratton, Colorado. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
