Alana Dee was born on May 18, 1948 and departed this life January 11, 2026. Dee was born in Denver Colorado at Porter Sanitarium, now known as Porter Hospital. She often joked of going to nine schools in ten years while her father was in the Army (military brat). The family settled in Widefield where Dee graduated from Widefield High School. Harold and Dee were married March 9th, 1975 at St Mary’s Holy Dormition Orthodox Church, and enjoyed 50 years together. Dee enjoyed raising her family on the farm. She enjoyed her time working at the deaf and blind school. She also worked at Ampex, JTM, Sofa Mart, Pillow Kingdom, and then finished her work life at Walmart where she enjoyed greeting all of the customers and making friends along the way. Dee was an active member of St Mary’s Holy Dormition Church, and enjoyed baking for the Slavic fest.
Dee is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Charlotte Dyson, sisters Linda (Johnny) Morris and Loni Kiess, and son Eugene Eurich. Dee is survived by her husband Harold Eurich, son Wayne (Janice), daughter, Chris (Lane) Hamacher, Dianna (John) Tutza, Anthony (Cindy) Johnson, Autumn (Todd) Lindgren, Nina (Ronald) Harvey, brother Bernie (Heather) Dyson, 26 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 18 nieces and nephews.
Services will be at St Mary’s Holy Dormition Orthodox Church at 19485 N. Calhan Hwy, Calhan, Colorado. Visitation from 5:00 P.M - 6:00 P.M with Panikhida Friday January 16, at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be January 17, 2026 at St. Mary’s Holy Dormition Orthodox Church at 10:00 A.M., with the burial to follow at St. Michaels Cemetery, in Calhan, Colorado.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Holy Dormition Orthodox Church, 19485 N. Calhan Hwy, Calhan, Colorado 80808, or to another charity of your choice.
