Albert Levi Ballard

Albert Levi Ballard, 69, resident of Nogales, Arizona passed away September 22, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born to Phillip and Delphia (Gross) Ballard on September 2, 1948 in Wyatt, Missouri. Albert spent his youth in Poplar Bluff, Missouri graduating from Poplar Bluff Senior High in 1966. On December 29, 1969 Albert married Joyce Ragains in Colorado Springs, Colorado and to this union a son, Jeff and daughter Danni were born. Albert was a Vietnam Veteran as well as a Desert Storm Veteran. He spent time in the Army, Coast Guard, Army National Guard and Navy Reserves. Al retired in December 1996 as a Petty Officer First Class with the Navy. Albert loved to travel and was able to visit many places and spend time with his family. Albert was preceded in death by his father and mother. Brother Sonny and James and Sister Mable. He was also preceded by brother in laws Ronnie and Wayne and his beloved wife Joyce. He is survived by son, Jeff (Melissa) Ballard of Rush, Colorado, daughter Danni Post of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, sisters Mary Deda (Bud) Pollard, Bea Bounds, Phyllis McClain and sister in law Carolyn Ballard. Albert is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler Ballard, Jason Post, Cheyenne Ballard, Colton Ballard, Cameron Ballard, Charly Ballard, Cara Ballard, Cooper Ballard, and Cadence Ballard along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was going to be a Great Grandfather in December.
