Amy D. Solomon

Amy Dian Solomon, 61 years of age, fell asleep in death on August 5, 2025. Amy was born January 14, 1964 in Denver, Colorado to Jess and Judy Solomon. She was the fourth of five children. She was preceded in death by her parents Jess and Judy Solomon and her brother Scott Solomon.

She is survived by her two sons Christopher David Terry and Mitchell Wayne Terry and their wives, Kayte Marie Terry and Erin Marie Terry. She has three grandchildren: Izzy Jo Terry, Beau Alexander Terry and Benjamin Lee Terry.

Many came to know and love Amy through her work at the Lincoln County 4H Extension office where she was an integral part of the Lincoln County Fair for 30 years. It was her passion to mentor and guide young people in their countless 4H projects and agricultural endeavors. Her tireless work ethic and dedication to making the local fair a success are still appreciated today. Anyone who knew Amy could appreciate her attention to detail and ensuring things were done right.

As a youngster and an adult Amy loved being with her father, Jess, whether that meant swinging a hammer for 8 hours or backpacking into the wilderness to prospect for gold, by his side is where she wanted to be. She loved fishing, spending time in the mountains and enjoying creation. Her favorite times were those spent with her family and a fishing pole from the cold mountain streams to the warm ocean water. Through that, she acquired skills most ladies do not possess. She could install your roof, register your kids for 4-H, layout concrete forms, and then catch and cook your fish for dinner.

Amy’s love for the outdoors built her love for her Creator and most recently she enjoyed sharing her Bible based hope for the future with many people. Her trust in God’s promise to do away with death and pain brought her much comfort and hope. (Revelation 21:3,4)
