Chad Everett White and Melissa (Missy) Dawn White of Brush, CO, ascended on June 21st, 2023, after a life filled with love, laughter, and many memories.
Missy was born on February 10th, 1978, in Hoxie, KS. She was welcomed into the world by her father Samuel Strong and mother Pamela Achziger during a blizzard of epic proportions. (wow, this is hard to write in the third person) Much like my birth, my early years were a whirlwind of adventures. My grandparents instilled my love for travel early, and it was a love that last my entire life, well...up until the end that is. Yes! I wrote my own obituary. Odd some may say, but the planner in me could never leave my final to my grieving family.
My life was filled with so many amazing people, opportunities, and memories. In my younger years, I married and was blessed with 3 beautiful daughters. Emily, Shayla, and Myisa, all have made me so very proud. They have since grown and have lives and families of their own.
In 2004, I met the love of my life. I love writing about this man. Chad White is, was, and will always be my soulmate. Chad and I joined our families, and I had the joy of adding two more beautiful ladies to my heart. In 2006, Chad and I added another daughter, Dakoda, to our family. We married in 2008 and the rest is history.
Normally this is the spot for accomplishments and things I loved. I can sum this up quickly by saying, I had a love for my family, for my friends, and for the water. Happiness to me would be best summed up with me searching for seashells, relaxing by any waterfall, or spending time with those who loved.
Chad was born on February 5th, 1974, in Fort Morgan, CO to Lonnie White and Connie Francone. Raised in Morgan County, Chad grew up undaunted, taking every challenge on head strong. He and his five siblings spent his teenage years creating lasting memories wherever they went.
Chad married at 19 and had two beautiful daughters, Chelsijo and Cara, whom he cherished whole-heartedly. Spending his free time with his two girls brought him boundless joy.
Later in life, Chad met his other half in 2004. The love Missy and Chad shared was undeniable. They welcomed their baby girl Dakoda into this world in 2006 and began a new adventure. In 2008, they married on leap day uniting their blended families.
Chad was able to accomplish two different associate degrees, one in Wind Energy and the other in Welding, despite unforeseeable obstacles. One would say that Chad was truly a jack of all trades. He spent his free time camping with his family at Red Feather, creating beautiful woodwork, and traveling. He took pride in the love he carried for his family but also for his friends. Chad’s heart was filled by being with the people he loved.
Chad and Missy will be lovingly remembered by children: Chelsijo, Emily, Cara, Shayla, Myisa and Dakoda; parents: Bryan and Connie Francone, Lonnie and Roxane White, Jim and Pamela Achziger and Sam Strong; as well as five grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.
Alongside his loving wife, Chad is accompanied in the afterlife by his brothers Shawn White and Kevin Francone, and grandparents Donald L. and O. Geraldine Howard, and Orval and Elsie White.
Alongside her loving husband, Missy is accompanied in the afterlife by her grandparents Bill and Violet Wolfe, and her second mother Sue Dowdy.
“I love you with all my heart and no matter how far you have to go, always know, I will be eagerly awaiting you with open arms.” – Missy, written to Chad
