Chuck Leonard, 72, passed on Nov 5, 2023, after a valiant battle with a total of 3 cancers. 2 were metastatic and 2 were not fully confirmed until his first 2 week hospital stay in Houston, Tx in October 2023.

Charles was born to William and Frances Leonard and first address was Holly, Co.

High school was completed in Montrose, Co. followed by a 4 year stint in the Navy where he spent most it aboard the USS Midway during the Viet Nam war. Upon return to Montrose he then spent a couple years at Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Co where he studied business.

Moving to Limon in 1990 with the promise of owning and running his own Western Wear store that never materialized for him, sad to say. He did proceed to live happily in Limon working at both Rip Griffins and Fast and Friendly for his working career.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The United Methodist Church in Limon on Saturday December 2^nd @ 10:30 a.m.
