Charles Ray Williams

December 6, 1936 — September 16, 2020

Charles Ray Williams (Chuck) was born on December 6, 1936 in Midland, Arkansas and passed into the arms of the Lord on September 16, 2020. Chuck passed just 41 days after his wife of 59 years, Myrna Williams also passed away. Together, they are in Heaven in the presence of Jesus Christ. Married on August 11, 1961, together Chuck and Myrna moved 11 times as Chuck served 22 ½ years in the United States Air Force. He lived as far West as Okinawa, Japan, as far East as Vermont and Virginia as far North as Alaska and as far South as Texas. After he retired, the family settled in Bennett and lived in the community 37 years. Chuck’s hobbies included hunting, fishing and watching football and baseball. He had a garage full of every tool known to man, but his family doesn’t remember him every fixing anything! He was known for loving his family. He was blessed with a wife that could cook and enjoyed big family holiday and birthday dinners. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife Myrna and is survived by sons; Mike (Melissa) Williams and Stuart (Tamani) Williams; daughter Bonnie (Bill) Feight; grandchildren Cody Williams, Chandler Williams, Brooke Feight, Madison Feight, Christian Williams, Justin Sundling, Matt Sundling, Levi LaMere, Logan LaMere and Kaden LaMere; and great-grandchildren Cameron and Aiden Williams. A memorial service to honor Chuck’s life was held at Mountain View Fellowship on September 21 with burial occurring immediately after at Mountain View Cemetery in Bennett.
