Damon Levi Adams-Rogers was born October 7, 1990 in Burlington, Colorado. October 15, 2017, Damon entered into rest in Burlington, Colorado. Family was Damon’s Everything!!! Damon was very much a protector. He lived his life to the fullest, you never knew what you were going to get. He lived a wild and free life wherever he may of been. There are so many stories because if Damon came into your life you were blessed. Always before Damon set out on another mission you knew you were loved. Damon challenged everything. His smile is unforgettable. Damon was a star football player in junior high and high school. When he was younger he participated in Pee Wee wrestling, where he enjoyed it up until he was going to have to wrestle a girl and he refused. Damon was fun, loving, had a heart of gold and so much more. He loved going camping, fishing, hunting, hanging out with friends and by far sports with the exception of going to concerts. Damon is preceded in death by brother; Joseph, cousins; Kya & T Cole, grandparents; Harry and Vera Rogers, and great grandparents; Guy and Jeanne McArthur. Those left to cherish his memories are his parents; Larry and Shari Rogers, brothers; Justin Rogers (Nicole), Zachary and Erik, sisters; Heather Rogers (Dillon) and Lauren Deckert, nephews; Jonathon and Jonah, and Zayvier, nieces; Jacklyn and Zaniyah, Aunt Shana (Randy), Uncle Steve (Sarah), Uncle Chad Deckert, cousins; Andrew (Melissa) Kenyon and Ander, Alisa and (Rylan) Anthony, Damien, Zoey and Jacklyn, Grandma Karen. Damon is loved and missed by all! Miss you baby! I got you Damer! Love Mom Here is a poem that Damon wrote: Live a Life that Matters Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end, there will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days. All the things you collected, weather treasured or forgotten will pass to someone else. You wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance, it will not matter what you owned or what you were owed. Your grudges, resentments, frustrations, and jealousies will all disappear. So, too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to do lists will expire. The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away. It won’t matter where you came from. It won’t matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, but what will matter is not what you brought, but what you built, not what you got but what you gave. What will matter is not your success but you significance. What will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught. What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage, or sacrifice that encouraged others to follow your example. What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when your gone. What will matter is not your memories, but the memories that live on with those who loved you. What will matter is how long you will be remembered and for what, living a life that matters doesn’t happen by accident, it happens by choice. Damon Adams
