David R. Belveal

March 8, 2021 — June 5, 2024

David R. Belveal

David Robert Belveal entered Heaven’s gates on June 5, 2024.  He was born to Jeff and Lavender Belveal on March 8, 2021, weighing in at 7 lbs, 6 oz.  He was welcomed by his big sister, Anna.  From day one, David and his dad were best buddies.  As he got older, he loved to go with dad on the tractor.  He had an untold amount of time with his dad running the equipment.  He had a passion for tractors, excavators, and all heavy equipment, especially skid steers.  You could say David was a walking encyclopedia on all kinds of equipment.  His favorite show to watch was “Tractor Ted.”  And, of course, his first word was “skid steer.”  His favorite book was “Baby's First Truck.”

He loved to play cars with little brother, Jonathan. Mom couldn’t keep him in jeans because he was always crawling on his knees in the dirt playing with tractors.  David always agreed with big sister, Anna, and did whatever she wanted to do.

David had a very sweet personality and was very tenderhearted and gentle.  He wanted to please everyone and was very eager to learn.  When he talked to you, he was very expressive with his hands.  He loved picking flowers for Mom, many times throughout the day, and loved to watch John Wayne movies with Dad.

He loved going to Wendy’s for chicken nuggets and fries and his favorite snacks were Craisins and croutons.  Mom would have to buy them by the case. David experienced life to its fullest, even tasting virtually everything he put his hands on.

David was looking forward to starting Sunday School this fall.  Big sister, Anna, was telling him all about it. David loved listening to Sunday School songs. His favorite song was “Deep and Wide,” which he loved to sing shamelessly at the top of his lungs.

He loved to pray and had a soft heart for Jesus. He always prayed at bedtime and at mealtime after dad. One of his last prayers was “Dear Jesus, Jesus is awesome! Amen.”

Though his time was short with us, we will always remember the love and joy he brought us and the memories will stay in our hearts forever.

David was proceeded in death by his great-grandparents,  Allen and Irene Bear, Howard and Anna Burkland and Judy Ritchey-Graves.

Left to cherish his memories are his mom and dad, Lavender and Jeff, big sister, Anna, little brother, Jonathan, Great-Grandpa and Grandma Bob and Marge Belveal, Grandpa Jeff (Laura) Belveal, Great-Grandpa James Birdsall, Grandma Janice Birdsall, Grandpa Jim (Cordie) Bear, Grandma Agnes (Richard) Hunter, Aunt Jackie (Ty) Snyder, Aunt Clover (Brian) Nicklas, Uncle Jonathan (Paige) Bear, Uncle Daniel (Rachel) Bear, Uncle Chuck (Cheryl) Bear, Aunt Violet (John) Launstein, Uncle Samuel (Katherine) Bear and numerous cousins and extended family members.
