Don Howell

Donald Howell of Bennett, CO passed away in his home peacefully on April 24, 2019. He was 84 years old.

Donald was born in Yuma, CO on May 11, 1934 to Jake and Ruth (Jewell) Howell. He was the fourth of five children. He moved to Otis, CO as a young boy and there he met his wife, Joyce Golgart.

Don and Joyce moved their family to Denver and Don went to work as a machinist. He eventually went to work buying and selling furniture. Don and Joyce loved to travel and visit friends and family. They also liked gambling in Las Vegas, Bullhead City and Black Hawk.

Donald is survived by his two daughters Regina Prebble of Thornton and Joni (Richard) Wells of Bennett. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Mountain View Fellowship in Strasburg, Colorado. Services will follow at 10:00 a.m.
