Evan Lee Haley

Limon resident, Evan Lee Haley, passed away unexpectedly doing the thing he enjoyed the most, on August 09, 2026. Evan was born to Angie (Gilchrist) Haley, and Bob Haley on September 01, 1995.

Evan attended Limon public schools throughout all his childhood and adolescent years, and attended the same school with his many siblings. His work life started at the Subway shop in Limon. From there, he also worked at Structures Unlimited, Hansen’s farms, Plains Heating (8 years), BEMAS Construction, and Alluring Legacy. While not working on the job, Evan was always looking for side jobs, and performing odd’s and end’s for anyone who required it.

Evan was a very active individual. He loved working on everything in the shop with his dad, and took apart literally anything and everything to see how it worked. Riding motorcycles, and dirt biking with his family was especially enjoyed by Evan. Any family time was precious, and of course the motorcycles were ridden to family barbeques, picnics, and get togethers.

Times at the cabin with grandpa Loren, were wonderful times for Evan. The two of them would spend precious time together, and solve all the world’s problems (or so they thought). When “down time” came, he enjoyed hanging out at the flower shop, and visiting with family and patrons who entered the shop.

Evan had a big family, with several siblings. He wrestled playfully with his nieces and nephews, and tormented his siblings when the opportunity presented itself. Evan’s partner, Chanelle, was a big impact in Evan’s life. They thoroughly enjoyed eating Pho (yes, that’s Pho), and watching movies together.

Evan’s family wasn’t only just in the Haley family; he absolutely adored animals. His dog Max was very important to Evan, and no other dog was treated with the great kindness and love Evan had for Max. They played together often, and the love between the two was evident in both their eyes.

Evan is survived by his mother Angie (Gilchrist) Haley; father Bob and (Stepmother) Janet Haley; brothers and sisters Brandon, Amanda, Thomas, Michelle, Adam, Dylan, and Shyanne; Grandparents Jean Gilchrist, Karen and Pat Haley; Aunts and Uncles Cindy and Mike, DiAnne and Wade, Brad, Tim and Mary, and Heidi and Jeffrey; many numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; partner of several years Chanelle Stephens, and his devoted dog Max, of whom was Evan’s child of the four-legged kind.

Evan was proceeded in death by Chad Haley, and Grandpa Loren Gilchrist.
