Evelyn Marie Swartz, 76, of Bennett, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Warren Swartz, with whom she shared over 50 wonderful years of marriage.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Evelyn treasured time spent with her family. She enjoyed playing bingo with her friends at the Byers American Legion Hall and attending ladies' Bible study on Thursdays — activities that brought her joy and lasting friendships.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Kevin Swartz, and his wife, Kristen, along with several cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Swartz; her son, John Swartz II; her parents, Ace and Marie Best; and her brother, Bob Dodge.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Tabor Baptist Church, 278 S Sherman St, Byers, CO 80103. Burial will follow at Mount View Cemetery, 3724 Kiowa-Bennett Rd., Bennett, CO.

Evelyn will be remembered for her loving spirit, her steadfast faith, and the kindness she showed to all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
