Everett B. Jostes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Everett Brennan Jostes, who was taken from us too soon. He entered Heaven's gates on May 17th, 2024, at the young age of 3. He brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and boundless energy. Everett was born on February 23rd, 2021, to Dusty Baker and Karlee Jostes. He entered this world on his own terms and made sure the Doctor didn't make it in time. His love for Mickey Mouse and the Roadster Racers will be ingrained in us forever. Everett loved to be outside and loved playing at the park, the big green tractor being his favorite. He never ran out of energy, and for sure kept his family entertained with his many laughs and funny antics. Everett was always smiling and could brighten anyone's day. Everett had many things he enjoyed to do, but playing with his big brother Jaykob was by far his favorite. Everett loved his family with all his heart, and it showed with how he would follow and imitate his big brother, how he wanted to wear his dad's boots, and how he just wanted to be cuddled by his mother. Everett wasn't like most kids and actually loved his vegetables. He would rather eat broccoli and green beans than fruit. His favorite place to go eat was McDonald's as he always wanted fries and nuggets. Everett was a spitfire, when told to stop doing something, or while being corrected he would either shush you with his finger or simply ask you to stop talking. Though Everett's time with us was brief, the depth of love and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts.
Left to cherish his memory are his Dad and Mom, Dusty and Karlee, and big brother Jaykob. His Grandma Drusilla Jostes, Grandpa Kurt Jostes, Grandma Miley Baker, Grandpa Joshua Baker Sr. and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A service celebrating Everett Brennan Jostes's precious life will be held on May 28th, 2024, at the Stratton Activities Center at 11 am, where friends and family are invited to remember a life that, albeit short, was truly a gift to us all.
