Jacklynn (Jackie) Ann Gilbert was born 10-01-1938 to John Cleary and Rosemary Potts in Mexico, Missouri. She spent her childhood in Seattle Washington, where she graduated and had one year of College. Jackie married Gary Gilbert on September 7, 1963 after 3 weeks of dating as they both knew it was love at first site.
While raising her 3 kids, Jackie loved her job as the “Attendance Clerk” at Hinkley High School. She loved painting, playing games and working on puzzles. She also loved to travel and has quite a spoon collection from the various destinations. Her greatest enjoyment was cheering on her grandchildren in their various activities as she quickly became one of the biggest and most treasured Badger fans. She had the most contagious laugh that brought joy to all around her. She was a blessing to her family and will be dearly missed by all.
Jackie was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Aurora and held the position of Deaconess until moving to Limon in 2006 to be closer to her kids and grandkids.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, John Cleary and Rosemary Cleary (Potts), a brother John, as well as Rick and Bethany Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Gary Gilbert of Limon, Fritz Gilbert (Kim) of Limon, Melanie Taylor of Limon, Cindy (Brad) Tacha of Limon and many grandchildren; Amanda (Chris) Pahls of Salina, KS, Heather (Bo) Randolph of Limon, CO, Lucas (Natalie) Taylor of Colorado Springs, CO, Stephanie Breeze , Kimberly Breeze, Amber Gilbert of Denver, CO., Kory Tacha of Limon, CO, Makenzie Tacha of Limon, CO, Drey Tacha of Limon, CO, Austin Clymer of Limon, CO, Valarie Clymer of Limon, CO. Also nine great-grandchildren.
