Janet Dee Emmerling was called home to be with the Lord October 26, 2019 at the age of 67. Janet was born July 19, 1952 to Donald E. Amberger and Leila F. (Westfall) Amberger in Flagler, Colorado.  Janet attended school from grade 1 to 12 at Genoa High school.  After graduation she attended Lane Beauty Academy in Aurora, Colorado.  Janet enjoyed being a beautician for several years.  On April 17, 1971 Janet married Ed Emmerling at the Genoa United Methodist Church in Genoa, Colorado. Janet had many activities that she enjoyed, bowling, watching the Broncos, Colorado Rockies and spending time with her family.

After obtaining her beauty license she relocated to North Platte, Nebraska from 1972-1975. The family then relocated back to Genoa where she spent the rest of her life.

Janet is survived by her husband Edward Emmerling of Genoa, Colorado, two sons, Mark (Catrina White) Emmerling, of Aurora, Colorado, Kelly (Candy) Emmerling of Greeley, Colorado. 4 grandchildren, Caden, and Ashton Emmerling of Aurora, Colorado, Taylee and Tyson Emmerling of Greeley, Colorado.  She is also survived by a niece Terri (Ord) Miller of Limon, Colorado and many friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents Donald Amberger and Leila Amberger, a sister Donna Drier and a nephew Gail Drier.
