John Ray Riemenschneider

August 2, 1960 — January 22, 2018

John Ray Riemenschneider was born on August 2, 1960 in Flagler, Colorado to Vernon “Tobe” and Shirley R. Leach. He went to Karval High School and was in the United States Army. After returning John attended N.J.C. where he received his Certified Welding Pro Certificate. John was an all around handyman and was an exceptional Farm Hand and Harvester. He married Dawn Schoknecht on October 18, 1980 and the family was blessed by four children; Michelle, Vernon, RB and JR Jr. John was involved in many activities, baseball, basketball, car racing, bowling and horseshoes. He received serval awards for Bowling and Horeshoes, he belonged to the Sidney Horseshow league had won several awards at the State and National Level. John was preceded in death by an infant son, JR Jr., father Vernon (Tobe), sister Verna and grandparents; John and Dora Riemenschneider and RB and Ella Leach. He is survived by his wife, Dawn, mother, Shirley, daughter, Michelle, sons; Vernon and RB and two brothers; Mark (Amy) Riemenschneider and Cody (Kristie) Riemenschneider. John is also survived by seven grandchildren; Austin Payne, Aleana Mungia, Chaliece , Essence, Evelyn, Brigette and Max Riemenshneider, one great grandson and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends
