Liana R Salas

October 27, 1979 — October 2, 2021

Liana Rose Salas fell asleep on October 2nd, 2021 in Colorado Springs. Though her life as we know it has come to a close, her family and loved ones take great comfort in the knowledge that Liana was born again of the incorruptible seed of Christ Jesus, the promise from God that she will be raised from the dead and gathered together with all born again believers at the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Liana was born October 27th, 1979 in Bremerton, Washington as Deanette Knight's first child. Liana truly was blessed with a heart crafted by God to love, encourage, and lift up those around her. She spread joy and giggles wherever she went. Whether she knew it or not, she did. That came naturally to her. Liana always remembered to be kind and sweet to strangers. This made her mama proud and her children inspired in their admiration of her. Liana Rose gave her love without regard. Seeing the best in people, she always rooted for the best to shine through brighter. Liana served as a sort of binding glue to her family, friends, and loved ones. Anyone could go to her in any kind of distress or excitement with an assured confidence that Liana would be there to embrace with loving arms. She had a way with words. So much so that she could snuggle, comfort, and encourage while also kicking your butt into check when you needed it. When excitement drew you to Liana's door, her exhilarated spark of enthusiasm could not be outdone. Liana always made it easy to be your truest, most authentic self around her. She was a goofball and a ball of energy. She was the life of the party more times than not. Often she could be heard from across the distance animatedly recounting memories she enjoyed. Liana had a wonderful sense of humor, a smile, a laugh, and a beauty that could not go unnoticed. Liana was a beautiful, strong, intelligent, and courageous woman who lived with her heart on her sleeve. She could almost always be found jamming out to playlists that never stayed true to one genre. If you had the distinct pleasure of eating Liana's food, it is certain you never forgot her mastery of deliciously satisfying meals. No matter what Liana put her mind towards, the goal would be accomplished. She was determined and a hard worker. Liana strove to provide the best with her hands, whether for her family, friends, or patients in her care. Many family and friends will cherish the memories they made with Liana. Liana is survived by her parents Thomas and Deanette Knight, siblings Lucas and Brenda Hadden, Michael Huskey, and Bobbie Brent, nieces and nephews Liana treasured Jadessa, Amber, Nayvee, Dillon, and Miles. Liana's legacy of love lives on through her three marvelous children Ena Rae, Tobias, and Alijah. (Written from the richness of love that only a "mamoo" and daughter could ever share; by Liana's eldest, only daughter, and "mini-me", Ena Rae Marie. The only comfort is knowing I'll hug her very soon in eternity.)
