Lydia L. (Guy) Davis was born on March 10, 1939 in Denver, Colorado to Delbar and Jessie (Koepke) Guy. Lydia passed away on August 25, 2021.
Lydia grew up in the Deer Trail area. Lydia married Delmer Davis on November 29, 1958. To this union were Cinda Ross and Tod Davis.
She loved working in her yard having beautiful flowers and big gardens. She was a wonderful cook, loved to rearrange furniture, and decorate her home. She was very involved with her children and their activities at school. She was also very involved in the Agate Community Church with the ladies activities and the upkeep of the church. She loved to make beautiful cards with her million stamps which she gave away as gifts. She loved her granddaughters and their spouses and her great grandsons.
She is survived by her husband of almost 63 years Delmer, her daughter, Cinda (Kevin) Ross of McGrew, Nebraska and son, Tod (Gina) Davis of Deer Trail, Colorado. Her brother, Vince (Sherry) Guy of Centennial, Colorado, sisters Vickie Sanders of Grants, New Mexico and Terry (Larry) Naggatz of Greeley, Colorado. Granddaughters, Kalena (Noah) Perry and Candace (Colton) Ehler of Bayard, Nebraska. Great-grandsons, Kalvin Perry, Kyle Perry and Grady Smith. Also nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in her death are her parents, Del and Jessie Guy, father and mother in-laws, Kirby and Lena Davis. Her sister and brother-in-law-Don and Evelyn Peppel. And her older brother Harold Guy.
Services will be help at Agate School, 41032 2nd Street, Agate, CO 80101 on Friday, September 3 at 11 am.
