Lynette (Snyder) Reese was born to Eldon and Evelyn (Roar) Snyder in Lakewood Colorado on May 30, 1957, and passed away on June 16, 2026 in Simla, CO.
Lynette preferred to not be idle, and enjoyed working; sometimes two to three jobs at a time. It was her tenaciousness that helped her earn her associates degree. Her favorite job was as a para-legal. She really thrived in the law environment, and was always full of joy and cheer doing what she loved. In July of 1981, Lynette married her sweetheart, Charles Reese.
Lynette had many hobbies, which is also contributable to her desire to be active at all times. She loved reading, traveling, and gardening. Even though she didn’t ride much, Lynette was an absolute animal lover. Her horses were such a delight to Lynette, and she loved grooming and spending time with them. When not with the horses, the dogs and cats received devoted care and companionship.
Her favorite of all her jobs was as a para-legal.
As a .32 blood Sioux, Lynette enjoyed looking for Indian artifacts wherever her and Charles were traveling. She has Sioux relatives still living on the reservation in South Dakota.
A stroke in 2013 slowed Lynette’s physical activities, but she remained as active as possible.
Lynette was proceeded in death by her brother Roy Snyder.
Lynette is survived by her devoted husband Charles Reese, son Matt Reese, and sister Lynda Roadway.
The family is having a private memorial at a later date.
