Margaret A. Hedgecoke

Aurora, Colorado resident Margaret Hedgecoke passed away on November 01, 2023, she was 77 years old.

Margaret Ann Hedgecoke was born on August 30, 1946 to Orley and Daisy (Hase) Conarty in Flagler, Colorado.  She was the oldest of three children born to this union.

Margaret attended school in Seibert, Colorado and graduated Salutatorian from Seibert High school in May of 1964.  Where she participated in cheerleading, drama, played the saxophone, and was the Homecoming Queen her senior year.  Margaret was very well liked amongst her classmates.

Margaret met and later married the love of her life Earl Hedgecoke on August 30, 1964 in Seibert, Colorado.  To this union four children were born; Carleen, Corinne, Ronald and Christine.

During this union, Margaret had the responsibility to raise and care for their four children.  Under her guidance and tutelage, her children thrived.  The example of love and commitment Margaret and Earl provided for their family, allowed their children to grow confident and successful.

Margaret loved to be with her children, visiting the casinos for a fun day, liked watching the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies.  She was great family woman and she adored her husband, Earl.

She was a member of the Eastern Stars.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Earl Hedgecoke.

Those life to cherish her memories are her daughters; Carleen (Sean) Mendez of Castle Rock, Colorado, Corinne (John) Purcell of Aurora, Colorado, Christine (Jerry) Schloffman of Castle Rock, Colorado, her son Ronald (Jennifer) Hedgecoke of Cusseta, Georgia, 11 grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, sisters; Cheryl Reese of Stratton Colorado, Marlis Hamm of Parker Colorado, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness or sent to Love Funeral Home, 377 15^th Street, Burlington, Colorado.

Funeral service for Margaret will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the Community of Christ Church in Seibert, Colorado at 1:30 pm with Pastor Norman Eagleton officiating.  Burial followed in the Seibert Cemetery in Seibert, Colorado.
