In Loving Memory of Nadine Kissel

Nadine Kissel entered God’s loving arms on January 14, 2026. Born on September 27, 1936, Nadine spent her earliest years at her family’s farmhouse in Lamar, Oklahoma. She was welcomed by her parents, Roy and Beulah Mowdy, and joined by her four older brothers: Roy, Troy, Charles, and Donnie. After spending her early childhood in Oklahoma, Nadine’s family eventually settled in Dodge City, Kansas.

On November 16, 1958, Nadine married the love of her life, Doug Kissel, in Dodge City. Together, they moved to Limon, Colorado, where they began their life as a married couple and built a loving home.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Beulah Mowdy; her beloved husband, Doug Kissel; and her brothers Roy (Frances), Troy (Edith), Charles (Betty), and Donnie (Rosie).

She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Kissel and Chris Harrison (Tom); her granddaughters, Taryn (Ryan), Nicole, and Rachael; and her great-grandchildren, Genevieve and Gabriel. Nadine also leaves behind many cherished family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Limon Methodist Church, 770 B Avenue, Limon, CO 80828 on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00am.
