Randy D. Frazier

Randy Dean Frazier, 60, of Greeley Colorado, passed away May 27th, 2025 at Swedish hospital, with his family by his side after facing multiple lengthy and debilitating illnesses. Randy was born into this world on July 26th, 1964 at Memorial hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado where we were welcomed by his parents Larry Frazier and Dolores (Poorman) Frazier, and older brother Martin Frazier. Randy spent his early days living in Matheson, Colorado with his family working on the farm and going to school in Simla where he found his passion for sports including, Track and Field, Basketball, and his favorite of all, Football. 

Randy worked very hard to give his all and was an excellent athlete and cherished the time spent with his teammates both on and off the field and often shared memories of "The Boys of Fall". Music always played a very special part in his life and grew into fruition when his talents lead him to become an accomplished guitarist and vocalist in the bands Big Sandy Drifters and Delta Wing. After high school, he worked various jobs, his favorite of which was managing the gift shop at Rip Griffin's. He loved the merchandising shows and had a knack for selecting quality items that sold well. During his travels he developed a love for trying new restaurants and foods of all kinds. Randy met and fell in love with Sheri (Campbell) Frazier and together they welcomed their daughter Kylee Frazier in August 1994. 

The light of his life, his granddaughter Hailey Nestor, was born in April 2014. He enjoyed teaching her math, showing her the beauty of nature and watching her creative mind grow. Randy earned the name Hailey proudly gave him as "Grump-pa". Randy loved animals especially his rescue cat, Itty Bitty. Randy was preceded in death by his mother Delores (Poorman) Frazier and father Larry Frazier. Randy is survived by Sheri Frazier, of Limon, Colorado, brother Martin Frazier and wife Barbara, of Greeley, Colorado. Daughter, Kylee Frazier (Erik) of Limon, Colorado. Nephews Riley Frazier-Kelley and Karson Frazier, his granddaughter, Hailey Jo Nestor, his Aunt Betty Gardner and many cousins and friends and his beloved cat, Itty Bitty. 

Randy's Celebration of Life will be held at The Gathering Place, 36971 Broadway Ave. Matheson, Colorado 80830 at 1 PM on Saturday June 28th.
