Reginia Gail “Crickett” McKee, 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Bennett, Colorado, on September 8, 2025, two days before her 75th birthday. She was born on September 10, 1950, in Logan, West Virginia, to Jack and Leatrice Perry.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of over 48 years, Danny McKee; children, DaShane McKee (Alicia McKee), Shawn McKee, and Christina McKee (Barry Primm); grandchildren, Keira and Skyler Primm, Adeline and Dakota McKee; siblings, Barbara Perry (Clyde Paradee), Sharon Chambers, Jacqueline Brown, Ronald Perry (Cheryl Woody), Scott Perry (Dawn Jones) all of Logan, West Virginia; and Chuck Perry of Dayton, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Crickett served a total of 27 years in the United States Air Force and Defense Finance & Accounting Services (DFAS), where she worked proudly and developed many lasting friendships.
Crickett was very kind and genuine and found humor in life no matter the circumstance and faced every day with grace and gratitude. Her laughter could fill a room, and she made everyone feel welcomed and loved.
Crickett found pleasure in all things family, especially the time spent with her grandchildren, who brought her endless love and joy. Crickett was an incredible cook who could make any meal special. Crickett enjoyed bowling with friends, and she was especially proud of winning the 1992 Colorado State Division II Singles Bowling Championship. Crickett loved being outdoors and watching the hummingbirds in her yard, fishing with her family and camping with her husband and family on the many RV trips they would take.
She will be deeply missed, but her warmth, love and strength will live on in everyone who knew her.
