Rose had room in her heart for everyone. She formed lasting connections everywhere she went with countless friends, neighbors, and a large extended family. She took the time to truly know each individual person.
Rose will be remembered for her sense of humor, her hospitality, and generosity. She made hundreds of patchwork quilts as gifts of her love. On several occasions, she and Elmer took their young grandchildren to hand out sack lunches, gloves and stockings to homeless people on the streets of Denver. A woman of faith, Rose’s compassion was without limits.
