Thomas Rush of Arriba, Colorado, passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2020. He was surrounded by family.
Tom was born in Flagler, Colorado on July 18, 1951 to the parents of George and Virginia Rush. Tom spent his years growing up on the family farm in Kansas and north of Arriba, CO. He enjoyed farming and ranching. Tom held various jobs over the years, including, working for Arriba Grain and the Town of Arriba after venturing from farming. Tom enjoyed operating various heavy equipment.
Tom liked being outdoors, sitting at the coffee shop; especially in his later years, and visiting with people. He could often be found at various farm sales buying odds and ends with no real purpose or intent of using them.
He liked to spend time with his grandkids when he could. You could find him at times driving around with either a grandkid or a dog as his companion.
Tom was proceeded in death by his parents George and Virgina, sister, Emma, and daughter Cristie. He is survived by his wife Taunee Rush and his former wife Myrna Rush of 39 years, son Bobbie Rush (wife Melissa, grandson’s David and Cyril), son Joseph Rush, (wife Mindi, granddaughter Abbie, and grandson Devin), He is survived by three sisters and brother in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation, A memorial service will be held at a later date.
