Thomas Lynn Slate "Lynn" passed away June 17, 2021 at home. He was born September 22, 1945 in Brownwood, Texas. He is the son of Luke Slate and Madelene Ruth (Carrell) Slate. Lynn is survived by his wife, Portia Irene Slate; children Sarah Louisa (Theo Clark) Slate, Tommy Lynn (Brandy) Slate, Dale Allen (April) Slate, Marshall Wayne (Jodi) Slate, Portia Madelene (Jeremy) Malenck and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his brothers Leo Slate, Jack Slate and a sister Lona Wilkinson.
