Tracy Lynn Kimble was born in Flagler, Colorado, on January 1st, 1955. Her arrival into this world was a difficult one, leaving her physically and mentally handicapped. Due to her condition, Tracy faced and endured many challenges, but persevered and earned a high school diploma from Limon High School in 1975. Soon after graduation, she found her niche under the care of Eastern Colorado Services for the Developmentally Disabled and later Dynamic Dimensions in Burlington, Colorado. There she lived the remainder of her life in the comfort and care of loving caregivers.
Tracy lived with a heart so open she never knew a stranger. She would often break the ice by offering them a piece of gum or candy. While Tracy loved her family greatly, she was also a HUGE devoted fan of Elvis. It was a dream come true for Tracy, visiting Graceland in 2014. She also followed every detail of the Royal Family and was very knowledgeable on the United States Presidents, fascinated by the intricate details of their lives and legacies.
Her compassion shone through her love for animals, as she treasured every intricate detail she could read about them in books, especially cats. Tracy also found excitement in cinema and television, counting King Kong and Godzilla as her favorite movies, The Price Is Right (The Bob Barker era) and Bewitched. Tracy loved watching spooky ghost shows, though she cleverly watched them on mute to avoid getting scared.
Above all, Tracy's kindness was her signature. Whether she was having a good day or a bad day, she always sent her guest off with a heartfelt, "I love you, call me if you need anything, and you know you are always welcome!" Her life was a vibrant tapestry of kindness, curiosity, and a genuine love for all creatures, great and small......and of course Elvis!
She was preceded in death by her parents Donald Lloyd Kimble and Peggy June Kimble (Cummins) and is survived by brothers Stan (Diane Kimble), Scott (Robin Kimble), and Casey (Cynthia Kimble) as well as nephews Tim Kimble (Bianca), Tyler Kimble (Hannah), Thomas Harrison, and nieces Kaitlyn Bennett (Chris), Sayla Kimble, and Abigail Yilmaz. She also had Great nieces Lyra & Briella (Kaitlyn) and Amelia (Tyler). Tracy passed away at the age of 71 on February 12th, 2026. She is missed by all she touched.
