William A. Skinner Sr.

William A. Skinner Sr. was born in Colorado Springs, Colo. on February 27, 1946 to John Skinner and Gwendolyn Ward. William passed away on September 23, 2020.
William and his family grew up in Fountain, Colorado, where he graduated from Fountain High School.
He was a truck driver for years, driving for Care Free Trucking. He loved to be outside, working on the farm, he loved to fish and he loved spending time with his family and friends.
William is survived by his sisters, Sarah Wilson (Dave) of Fountain, Colo and Bonnie Thomas of Denver, Colo.; brothers, Jim Skinner of Colorado Springs, Colo., Don Skinner (Brandy) of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Fred Skinner of Pueblo, Colo.; his children Bill Skinner Jr. (Melissa), Joseph Skinner and Jamie Skinner. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Michael Watkins, Mariah Watkins, William Skinner III and Annalee Skinner.
William is preceded in death by his parents, John Skinner and Gwendolyn Skinner (Ward), a daughter Jennifer and sisters, Johnette and Betty.
Services will be held at Hanover/Chico Basin Cemetery, located near the corner of Powers Rd. and S. Peyton Hwy. on Saturday, October 3 at 1 p.m.
